So I decided to play it safe and I skipped the big one. It will be there again in 6 weeks thats not to long. I would have been really irritated with myself if I sat there for 5 or 6 hours and then went out on the bubble. I need to make some profit so I can afford to go to SF next month with Melissa for our vacation. I am planning on hitting Winstar hard this week, going to go on Thursday and Saturday for sure, maybe Wednesday morning as well. I want to play 2/5 but might stick with the 1/2 for now see how things go.
I drank for a good portion of the afternoon yesterday not enough to get drunk but just enough to leave myself tipsy, but then when you stop you get really tired and groggy and achy. Kung-fu is tonight and I am going to go but its going to kick my ass, the effect of alcohol on my body even the next day even if I am not hung over is a lot more noticeable than it was a few years ago. Just another sign that I am getting older.
Last night I played some online and it didn't go well. A combination of being tired and groggy from drinking along with some bad luck and some tilt left me down 5 buy ins. I have some work to make up today before I leave for kung fu. I am going to polish this off then get cracking on that, I'll let you know how it goes.
