Intro

I figured that since every other poker player has a blog I will make one as well. I figure this might help with flow of ideas. Some info about myself in case your wondering and don't already know. I am 26 years old I will be 27 next month, I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I have been playing poker for over 4 years, but really only been playing well for the past year or so. I have been studying kung fu for almost 2 years there will be a lot of kung fu talk in here I am sure. I was working at a local card house but was let go which is ok with me. The money was excellent but the boss was a hard ass and hard to get along with. The kind of guy who makes a snap decision about someone and doesn't ever change it. I have a smallish bankroll and I am going to be giving playing full time a shot. I have a job at a restaurant here in Fort Worth, I work there two days a week so I have back up money if needed in case this doesn't work out lol. My online bankroll is ridiculously small nothing nearly big enough to live off of, I am playing a lot trying to build it up to something I can live off with along with playing live games here around town and in Oklahoma at Indian casinos.

Today is Tuesday and I had to go in to the restaurant today, luckily there was someone there who was interested in picking up my shift. It is so very hard to get motivated to go there and wait tables. I am going to watch some videos later see if I can fix a few plugs in my online game. I seem to get bored/tilt a lot more when I am playing online, I think that will come with time. I am trying to build up to where I can play 4 table and profit, I don't think I should play any more than 4 because A, my monitor sucks B, just seems you cant play at your best with that much going on.

Last night in kung fu class we were working on throwing people if they kick at you. Very cool stuff, but it has left me very sore this afternoon. I will have class again tomorrow night hopefully we will be doing some more of that or hopefully even ground flow. Ground flow is ground fighting, like what you see on the UFC. Since UFC is so popular these days my teacher (or sifu is the chinese term) believes its important to learn how to fight on the ground. That will be some good stuff once we get started on that.

I guess that is it for today's entry, I am going to make a concentrated effort to post one of these daily. Since I am not working really it shouldn't be that hard of a thing to do, so some of them might be boring, hey what can I do.
Later
